Game crash after character customization

Do you get an error message? Can you post your dxdiag details and any steps you've taken on troubleshooting?

To start, can you restart your system with a Clean Boot and see if anything changes.

I have the same issue as the previous user, only that after the crash, I have to clear the cache under Documents/Need For Speed Unbound folder so that the game will start, otherwise it doesn't even reach to the main menu before it crashes again.

I did multiple clean boot, to no effect. Driver (NVidia Driver Version 526.98) is up to date, as well as windows updates, vc redist and direct x - all of them are up to date. 

Repairing the game as well as updating the game also don't have any effect (regardless if it is done via origin or ea app). 

You need to delete the .PCDX12 file in your Documents\Need For Speed(TM) Unbound\cache folder. I have to do this every single time otherwise the game won't relaunch.

However, I have the story mode crash, so that still needs a solution.

Also having this issue, every time i clear the cache, the game will load, i select "Story Mode" and it crash's out while loading...

I didn't want to hijack this, but here's my DxDiag.

I have EA Play Pro using Origin and tried repairing the game files, but it did not help.

I understand my CPU is one generation below the minimum, and I wouldn't complain about performance, but I'm still hopeful for a resolution.

here is mine crahes to desktop without error.

disabled fullscreen optimisation, admin rights , in windows settings under graphics it is set to high performance.
