The state of NV drivers, especially the ones this year needed for the RTX 5xxx cards is simply apalling. I don't know if you check out the NV forums (main site where drivers can be downloaded), but it is, and has been since 5xxx series release packed full of all manner of complaints. Every post is negative with a variety of problems. Someone else may have mentioned a similar error?
NV messed up bad with this. The error you are getting really shouldn't happen unless the PCIe connection is loose (worth checking) or possibly if the card stops working for a few seconds due to the terrible power delivery system (melting cables blah blah).
Please check your card is securely seated in it's slot, and all power cables are firmly fixed in. I am sure you have done that though.
99% it's yet another issue with the dreadful drivers. Not much to do about that as the older drivers which are pretty stable, mostly, don't work on the 5xxx series.
People are really upset.
I guess all I can say is good luck, and hope it's resolved soon!
yea im aware of the 5000 series issues, however i have no other issues with other games and the card has been in the system for months now so i am sure it is not an issue with power or the card not being seated correctly. possible a driver issue however when i looked it up it says it is generally an issue with the game.

In that case it probably is the game. Not sure what to say. Could need a patch. Or a re-install, or fully updated EA App.
I have a feeling you've done all that though. Just in case, if you click on "RUN" non admin, in start and type "dxdiag" without the quotes that should say no problems. Only takes 3 or 5 seconds to run. Checks your drivers, graphics components, and what its mean't for Direct X. Should be vs 12.1. But not sure if that game is DX.
Worth a try if you haven't already done so. Another one I like which most people either ignore or don't know about is to use, "Performance Monitor." (Not Resource monitor)
Must be run as admin, left hand side you will see Monitoring tools. Next heading is the one you want, "Data Collector sets." open it and you will see four headings. Open the second one, "System." You will see two options (blue boxes) The first one is System Diagnostics. The second is System Performance.
These are automatically configured reports that take one minute to complete. Right click on System Diagnostics and start. It will take a minute. You can move down to Reports and find the report. Move down anytime, the report keeps running for a minute and doesn't get interupted. You will probably have one warning, informational, reports missing from event collector. I always get that, it has no practical donwside. Windows always loses some of the 10,000s of events it creates and if you ever disabled some of the mind numbing useless event collect that message will appear. Ignore it.
But if any of the other sections have an error you will need to trouble shoot it. First thing is simply re-boot and run again, if same error then fix it.
Can also run the same one minute for system performance although it's not really important.
BTW this is W10. Sure the same exists in W11.
Again you may already know that, but many don't it seems so anyone reading this may find it helpful.
Windows has plenty of diagnostic options. Good to use them.
Good luck, and update if you have a question or if you get it working. Good luck!!
In summary 3 quick diagnostics.
1. dxdiag - Non admin. Run.
2. & 3. The two above, diagnostics and performance.
They can be useful, and running them manually means it may cut down on some to the annoying backgroud checking that windows loves to do, wasting CPU cycles. There are many more of course, but those are easy, and check vital stuff, especially dxdiag.
