@V_Mog@Czarnymenda4991well, I really hope they really are doing it then, since aside from this, the missing Link Ups & Boosted Events are still not fixed for those of us who experienced it in the last volume either, so hopefully that gets fixed alongside this too.
I also tried troubleshooting it myself in various ways to no avail. Reinstalling GPU driver, reinstalled the game, repaired the game via EA client, setting Nvidia settings to let the 3D apps decide, deleted the DX12 in the cache, disabled DLSS, setting graphic settings to lowest, deleting save & starting anew (backed up my old save so I don't really lose them).. Nothing works.
If anything, setting graphics to lowest actually do let the game run for a bit longer before it crashes again. One thing I find peculiar however is that by being able to run the game for longer, I noticed the game currently has texture & model loading issues, like you'd see low res textures & poly first before the high res one loads on certain props in the open world. That was a problem I remember happening back when the game first released, but even back then it allows me to play it at least.
Whatever they're doing, I hope they'd get to it fast. I don't mind waiting, but I feel EA should be a lot more transparent with us, with them being dodgy about the future of NFS & shifting Criterion to Battlefield & whatnot. I mean, just look at how many game breaking bugs are there in the forum that remains unaddressed.
While I am sad that both Unbound & NFS in its entirety isn't getting as much attention from EA, I'm at least having fun in Unbound & content with playing it even at the low rate of new contents we're getting. It's the only NFS since forever where all car classes are viable, and the tracks vary instead of everything being S+ 400+ rating & tracks being mostly just long straight roads & having you drive like you're on speed, dodging traffic left & right.
