Logitech F710 does not work in Need For Speed Unbound

A few weeks ago my Logitech F710 gamepad stop working with the game and now i can only use my keyboard to play. When i buy the game (almost 1 year ago) i could play the game with my gamepad. The gamepad works perfectly fine with other games even with other NFS games (Rivals and Heat).

- Platform: Steam

- OS: Windows 10

What i have tried:

- Use F710 Connect Utility

- Adding EADesktop app to Steam

- Run the game in Big Picture Mode

- Run the game from EA

- Run EADesktop form steam and then game

- Disable Steam Input

- Enable Steam Input

- Enable Steam Input for Xbox controllers

- Disable Steam Input for Xbox controllers

    Hey @Brandon_F-8_D

Unbound supports a limited number of wheel peripherals. For more information check out this article

    Spoiler

    Steering Wheels

Need for Speed Unbound has steering wheel support and has been thoroughly tested with the following models:

    Thrustmaster T300RS (PS5, PC)
    Thrustmaster TX (Xbox, PC)
    Thrustmaster T150 (PS5, PC)
    Thrustmaster TMX (Xbox, PC)
    Logitech G29 (PS5, PC)
    Logitech G920 (Xbox, PC)
Fanatec CSL Elite Racing Wheel (PS5, PC, Xbox)

Just make sure to connect your equipment before launching the game, and that your steering wheel is assigned to your user profile.

    Thanks!

  • Thank you for your response. However, Logitech F710 is not a wheel controller, it is just like an Xbox controller. As i said previously, the gamepad was working perfectly fine a few weeks ago. Maybe a recent update is causing this because the gamepad works fine with Need For Speed Rivals and Heat.

    Hey @Brandon_F-8_D

Apologies and thanks for clarifying I think I had the G9's in my head.

To check did you get any windows updates recently? If not, do you run any controller software with the F710? (or do you use Steam inputs)

    1. I have not update Windows recently.
    2. I tried to use F710 Connect Utility program and still doesn't work.
    3. I normally don't use steam inputs but i tried the following without success:
      1. Disable Steam Input
      2. Enable Steam Input
      3. Enable Steam Input for Xbox controllers
      4. Disable Steam Input for Xbox controllers

I installed the game on my laptop and it works. Still don't know why the gamepad stopped working on my PC. I will post here the solution if I found it, to help anybody facing this issue.
