Logitech g923 compatibility on pc

I am tryinh to play this game with my logitech g923 because I am disabled and cannot play racing games with a gamepad due to only having one functioning hand. I have updated my g-hub software and tried unplugging and replugging the steering wheel at every stage of loading and gameplay but it still isn't recognized. strangely, the steering wheel will turn the car, but the pedals and wheel buttons totally don't work. does anyone have experience solving this issue?
