The main thing is that the HUD is an absolutely essential game element. EA should actually know that. It makes no Sence to start the Game because without this, it's not really playable overall. Even if the Content from Vol. 7 is really really nice, we are forced to wait.

- To be honest, from my perspective the update isn't that great. But maybe it's just me. I always play my racing games with a steering wheel, it's a whole other experience as compared to a Controller. By racing games for me, it's either they have some steering wheel support or I won't buy them. Over the last years EA didn't show much love for the people who use steering wheels and now, with this update it's the same. The lane changing mechanics for the drag races are a big disappointment. This mode is unplayable with a steering wheel. I loved drag in NFS 2015 (2016) and thought it will be similar to that, just to get this "cars on rails" mode. Than to ad more disappointment, here are the bugs that just made the game a disaster for the time being. No HUD, game launching only after you restart your PC, or for some people not launching at all and this just to name what I experienced, because there are other bugs that just take you out from the whole experience. I am very patiently waiting for some fixes, but deep down I developed a huge amount of uncertainty when it comes to games made by EA. That's also why I never buy games on launch or preorder, because I first want to be sure of the state in which a game is coming out, and then they come out with an update that makes more harm than good.
