Naked character, car body parts not visible, missing money. PS5

My character is naked. Every time I try to put something on him it goes back to being naked.  Body kit missing off one of my cars.  Almost a million dollars missing if not a million or more.  ...

Hi Everyone, 

Thanks for letting us know what you are running into with NFS Unbound. 

If you are still seeing issues with your Character, Car, or money please let us know the following:

 

  • Platform:
  • PSN ID/Gamertag:
  • Are you getting an error message?
  • Which modes does this happen in?
  • Does this happen when loading into a specific more or performing an action in a mode?
  • Does this happen to any other account on the device?
  • How long are you playing until this happens?
  • Are you playing from the device's internal storage or an external drive?
  • What type of network are you using? (Wired, Wireless, Hotspot)
  • Is anything else happening?
  • Please share any steps you've tried to far to resolve the issue:
  • If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip...
  • If on PC, please share a DxDiag and an EA app Error ID

We can use this information, to help make the team aware of the issue and to further investigate.

    - Has been Reported by multiple users I've talked to, possibly a server-side issue

    - Few minutes in, upon Entering SinglePlayer or Multiplayer Garage

    - For Ownership of Items Related to Volume 4's SpeedPass: Exit Garage and Re-Enter Again
    - For Missing Cars (Porsche Taycan): Purchase New Vehicle
    - For Cars With Missing Stock Parts (Lotus Exige/Mercedes G63): Purchase New Vehicle
    - For "Purchase Failed" Message in some cars: Buy New Vehicle (More Explained Below**)
    - For Cars With Missing Bodykits: No Result**
    - For Missing Clothing:
        - If not Equipped with Volume 4 Items before the "timer update": Same as Ownership (Point 1)
        - If Equipped with Volume 4 Items before the "timer update": No Results**
    - For Missing Money: No Result, must earn back Playing 
  • If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip...
    - Files Attached are two DLC Vehicles, and a Online Character with Volume 4 Bottom Items Equipped prior to glitch
    • If on PC, please share a DxDiag and an EA app Error ID (Forgive me, as I am unaware of their location)


      SUMMARY:
      The Problems reported by multiple people have taken place after a server update was given to the SpeedPass, adding a countdown timer for it's duration.A Mistake may have caused a Server-sided glitch, stripping all ownership to every Item Added post-volume 4 to all Players.
      Said Glitch affects player Inventories, stripping their access to said Items, Corrupting Any Entity which had them equipped**, Resulting in missing body parts on cars, Missing Clothing Items on Characters, Missing Banner Items, Missing the Porsche Taycan, and Driving Effects/Vanities Like Tags, Samples, neons and horns being unequipped, And any entity holding these items turning corrupted, as they can't equip or unequip anything else from the inventory**, Resulting in "Purchase Failures" upon attempting to buy a new item for it.

      One can re-gain access to the Items by exiting the garage and re-entering or restarting the game, as the trigger to regain ownership of the items seems to be entering your garage fresh after the initial trigger sets off (First boot after the server update). This fix only applies to Items whose triggers are in-game rewards, such as SpeedPass Items and One-Shot Challenges, however it doesn't fix the ownership in the corrupted** entities, and Items Obtained out of methods of Outside sources (EA Play Rewards, DLC Packs, Heat's Loyalty Mclaren and Money, Palace Edition Money) Can't be triggered again, meaning said Items are unobtainable.

      Hoping for a Fix soon.

      **Examples of Corrupted Items:
      Cars: If the Car had Equipped ANY Item from Volume 4 (from Bodykits, and wheels, all the way to Neons and Driving Effects) Said Items will be removed from the vehicles and Can't Equip or Purchase any new Item, leaving them broken without the ability to change either Visuals or performance Items, Forcing to buy a clean, non corrupted car.

       - For some odd reason, the Roof is Missing on Owned Lotus Exiges, probably due to it's inclusion in the "Blueprint" of the DLC Car.
         Similarly, The Epic Customs for the Skyline GTR R34, and 350Z, are only missing their liveries and license plates, due to the bodykits and parts existing in prior updates, just hidden from players.

      Characters and Banner: If your character and Online Banner were left without applying any item from Volume 4 (Clothes or Victory Animations) the character/banner is safe, however if one had any new Item equipped, these may become corrupted, removing  any new items equipped, and not allowing any changes to them, there's no fix to this, which should be addressed quick.
