Hello,
I‘m Playing Need for Speed Unbound for Playstation 5. When I try to connect to the online server i always get the error: DR1001.
I have a good Internet connection. I‘m using ethernet. I tried to restore the license, i changed the DNS, i cleared the Cache of the PS5, i deleted the game file, i deleted the Game and reinstalled it, i turned off crossplay. Nothing of this helped, i still get the Error: DR1001.
I had no problem playing online at first. But after i played a race with a friend and finished it, i got the error. Since then i cant really connect to the online servers. I made it once when i changed the DNS but later i got the error again. Now even changing the DNS dont work.
To check have you also tried going through the following?
- Clear the systems cache (Close the game completely > Turn off the console > Wait 30-60 seconds > Restart and Relaunch)
- Verify you signed into your PSN account
- Check for updates
- Restore Licence
- Try the steps in our Connection and Advance Connection Guides
- Open your PS5 NAT Type
- Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use)
- Entering Safe Mode and Rebuild your PS database
