NFS Unbound - error code "FTCL50001"
Trying to play online and I get the error code FTCL50001. Lobby could not be created

Anybody know how to fix error code FTCL 5001
because after the update all I get is the stupid FTCL5001 error code or I can’t creat a playing lobby . It just loads & id try everything for the console & nothing & of course no body at the tech department is answering & or helping us with this issue
- @eiseeu Did you find a fix for this!?I've been having this same exact thing on my ps5.When I enter online and start up in garage, I get the error code FTCL5001 unable to create lobby...so I just bypass it and click on play and find game...it just stays on the loading screen for a bit then kicks me back out to dashboard and says offline....freaking ridiculous!

Date is started:About 2 months ago maybe..it's still doing it.
Steps tried: I have uninstalled/reinstalled game,safe mode( clear cache and rebuild database), regular reset, factory reset,deleted save data from cloud and/or console, synced and unsynced data,reconnected internet(forget network and reconnected network),logged out of PS and logged back in, contacted AT&T to troubleshoot and everything is fine as far as connection(they even sent me a brand new router), contacted Playstation support,contacted EA support(several cases are active), cleaned console(PS5 was spotless)...I've tried everything I know to do. Attached is screenshots of error codes I am currently experiencing on the PS5 for NFS Unbound:
I'm also currently experiencing the 2nd pic you have, and EA said they fixed it in the Volume 4 update, and i STILL HAVE IT. wth?
Error codes that I am experiencing are as follows:
-Failed to create lobby.Lobby could not be created.Please try again later.Erro code:FTCL5001
-Unable to save file.Your progress will not be stored.Error Code:9
-Failed to create lobby.Item system synchronization failed.Please contact customer support.Error code:FTJR2008
I am also getting Wrap data not saved error also.
- @eiseeu Hey! I posted up another thread regarding this error code and then saw this. This is exactly what was happening to me. Been happening for about 3 weeks. Read about people having too many cars in their garage. I had about 127 cars. Sold alot of them to get it down too 87 cars and it has finally worked after all this time. Alot of nights spent trying to get it to work and this was the only solution. It's still abit slow so mostlikely will have to sell more cars. But this is definitely what the issue is. Finally can get back on and play so I'm happy. Hope this helps everyone else!
I've been going through this FTCL5001 BS for over a month. Did the ea chat and the said it was a known problem and their people are working on it. It's been a problem for over a year.
Fix#1 I did everything ea said and nothing then I sold a bunch of cars and deleted some wraps. Went from 118 to 45. Finally got to race some online. Still got the same error message but it would load the online races sporadically. Not a permanent solution.
Fix#2 Change router settings to a single or moderate nat type. I'm guessing if you check your nat type it'll come back as a double nat. The dreaded double nat. Google that and you'll find everything you need in it. It is dependant on your router and isp. I finally changed my router to an access point long story severely shortened.

@livinwithaliens7 don't worry same here but it's not as bad as before the update, I can get in consistently but there is still that chance of not loading, or even crashing the game, but I no longer get kicked from entering a garage, just a low chance of the game crashing

Hi guys. I am once again struggling to get into an online lobby in NFS Unbound. But this time it won't even load me into the pre screen in the garage to get me into an online lobby. Been doing this for about a month now. And tbh I'm about to give up with the game when I really don't want to.
It will load, come up with my rewards I have for a split second, then kick me out back to the main screen with an error. This needs to be fixed as I know I'm not the only one. What ideas do you have to get this sorted? I have done everything to troubleshoot my internet and nothing has happened...
@UDTLORDKILLAYep..that's exactly what was happening to me.Kicked out so fast..before I could even have time to click on cars to delete the bugged one.No matter what I tried and how many times I tried, I could never get online past the 3-4 seconds you have in the garage before getting kicked back offline to the homescreen.I ended up having to delete both save data from console and cloud and deleted and reinstalled the game.I lost everything.Now I'm starting over from scratch to grind and unlock everything. .Sucks for real!
Thanks for the reply and information. If that's the case for me to delete everything then you can 100% consider me done with the game. I am not starting again.
I have just tried the game again deleted a bunch of dlc and reward cars from my single player game. Went from 118 too 46. And now I can get to the lobby screen on the online part. Had to delete most of my paint jobs aswell
I can now get into an online game after all these months. It seems like to me that the way they have made online and off-line garage separate has made thus huge bug that affects both games. If you have too many cars in your off-line game then it will affect the online aswell..
