Hi guys. I have been playing unbound on my series x from launch. Recently after the volume 3 update it slowly has been getting worse connecting in online mode. Sometimes it will work for around 15 mins then kick me out. But for the last few weeks it hasn't been working at all.
It would load into the lobby menu, but comes up with this error (see attached pic) then when I try to find a game it loads into it but then eventually kicks me out before I even in a game. It puts me back to main menu and says I am off-line and have to connect again. It's been around 3 weeks since I have been able to in an online game.. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and also disconnected my internet to see if thats an issue. But still has the same problem. Every other online game I play, I have no issues.
Hi @UDTLORDKILLA Can we see if the following steps help with connecting online?
- Quit the game and other running apps from Quick Resume (For Series X|S consoles)
- Remove any connected device, or additional USB's from the console then restart the Xbox and check
- Check for updates
- Try the steps in our Connection and Advance Connection Guides
- Open you're Xbox NAT Type
- Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use)
- Persistent Storage
- Go to settings > Select Device & Connections > Then Blue-Ray
- Select Persistent Storage > Clear Persistent Storage
- Alternate Mac:
- Go to settings > Select General > Then Network settings
- Go to advanced settings > Alternate Mac address > Select clear
- Select restart

Thanks! Will try this when I get home later this afternoon. I have read it but can't try these until later. Hopefully it will work. I have been playing since vol 3 came out so not sure about updates. But worth giving it a go. I'll keep you updated 🙂

I have tried the things you have told me to try and unfortunately it hasn't worked. Still doing the same thing. Is there any other options? I was really enjoying the new update. Got to level 75 and then this happened shortly after so it's abit frustrating. Any other options would be great! Thanks! 🙂
- 2 years ago@EA_Illium Hey! I was looking at another thread on here about the error code coming up. It's the same as what is coming up for me and I was reading through it and they are right. The issue is caused by how many cars you have in the garage. I had around 125 cars. Alot are multiple of the special edition cars. I sold alot and got down too 87 cars and then tried online. And it worked! First time it has worked in about 3 weeks now so that is definitely the issue. Hopefully you guys can look into it and get it sorted for the next update cause now it looks like people are now limited to around 80 or 90 cars now to still go online.

Hey man. Been a while.. still having these same issues. Once I get over 105 cars in my garage, it won't let me go online. To this date been the same. Just didn't follow it up

That was happening to me also. The game kept giving me copies of the Dodge viper custom, and I just sold them all, and then was able to get online. I only had 68 cars but it's all those extra vipers it keeps giving me!!!
