But wait, do you ever put back the save file again or not? Because if you delete the save file your online progress does go out with it, I've seen it happen to other people, I wouldn't like it to happen to me since I have all the Speedpass content on my save
No, I didn't put back my save file, nor planning to. If deleting the save file was the issue, then I doubt putting it back will keep things as is, tho it's worth a try, but I don't wanna risk out on a completely block off next time.
As for the online progress, just like I said previously. I doubt it'd be linked with a local directory, if they did it like that, you could just get a save file of someone else and have all he had in online without doing anything.
What you said about other people's progress going out with it, I can't say anything on that. My online progress wasn't affected a bit, all my lvls, current speedpass progress is all there (except my model and banner), but, from what I know of, I can say this that online content is always synced with your game account (email, steam, or whatever you've used to log in for). Otherwise you would just be able to abuse this with having multiple accounts with same progress and cars or something.
If it's concerning, keep a backup of your save file in a different location. And then try those steps. If as you said that online progress goes off with it (which I doubt shouldn't be happening), you could just replace back your save file from the different directory where you stored it.
For having Speedpass, you make purchases through your email or the account which is bind to the game, so those transactions will be bound with your account, and that info would be stored in servers, the seller, and you the buyer ofc with a receipt.
Well, give it a try. I'll try the save file thing and update on it when I get time. Or, you if you are trying out and still have the online progress, then can tell bout it too. (Does the story progression matter anways since most of the new content is in online).

I tried changing the save file, but sadly I can't help you with that now. If you've read the previous msgs here, you'd see one of mine where I said that I wasnt able to play the game or it wasn't just launching for me. That's what happened when I replaced my save file and the game didn't launch. Tho I'll still try out and see if I get any results from it.
It just occurred to me after your mention on progress. I had kept everything I had, the levels, progress, cars, as I mentioned before, but, I didn't seem to have my bank. Back to the start of it with 200k. And also, had to select a starter car again, but, my other cars were still there. As for the cars part, idk what to say, since the cars that I owned, were a few, Audi S5 (idk where or when I had got it), R8 from the pass, and F1 from dlc. As for the starter car, I choose the gtr V-spec. That's all I've.
I won't be able to clarify more on this part sadly since I didnt had enough progress in online as I wasn't able to play it. The only thing I can say now is that I'm able to play online back.
Ima just recommend to keep the save file with you properly. Or if there's someone who could try this and share their results.

I was able to start the game with my save file which had my progress. Apparently, wasn't able to play online. I tried my recent different saves where online worked, of which, the new parts or upgrades that I had done to my starter vehicle were only with the save file with which I was playing, but not with the one from yesterday. So, whether it's just this, or it affects everything, I can't be sure of it now, unless someone else actually tries and tells us about it. Indeed, tthe past Pass progressions and Unlockables are linked to the account itself, and that's nice, however starting the game without a savefile does not save the cars and liveries you had prior to the savefile delete.
The problem with me starting over is a bit more complex, I totally could play it again and try it out... however it would mean losing over 90+ Original designs I had made for my cars in game, some took waaay to long to make so I'm not really willing to start over due to this.One more thing I tried was Putting the savefile back: and while it worked for one single session, after I left the game idle and got kicked for inactivity, the game turned back to the errors again, disconnecting me multiple times while in the online garage and no attempt to play in freeroam or pvp was suuccessful
It is most definitely my savefile that's causing this...
I feel it has to do with filesize, but that's only an assumption@TurboZino That's sad to hear. Can't believe it still, where the era is going and what EA is doing. Why do they even have servers for when we can't connect to them and the online progress is also saved on a damn local file. What I don't understand is, besides the save folder, there's the wraps and banners folder too, the hell are those for if even the wraps are not saved. They should literally have local file for offline and online shall be stored on their servers, but that's not the case. Also, this is all happening just because of a stupid save file which got corrupt due to who knows why. They better be looking into this more, since its an issue arising from offline mode affecting the online, what a relation, and this has been happening since early time.
- @BrokeDeaDn I will say there is a few positives to the local data being located in the players computer, but yeah I do find issue on how easy the corruptions can take place, my hopes is that one day this'll be addressed before the last update to the game

I already sold cars in story mode and online, which left 1 car in each class - I still can’t buy a car either online or in story modeThe video shows a long loading time without slowing down or speeding up the video.
