Just stopping in to say I'm also receiving these errors on PC (Steam). I can't play online since I started getting these errors last night. Never had any problems until Vol .4
It started happening after my internet dropped right after an online race. After restarting my internet and restarting the game, the error appeared and I haven't been able to get rid of it.
PS5 Issue Resolved
Below are the steps I used to fix the game. Hopefully this works for others.
1) Turn off Auto Sync Saved Data for NFS Unbound.
2) Delete all cars except 1 in both campaign and online. - I chose an old car I had for both - Not an unlocked or DLC.
3) Change character pose and banner audio in both campaign and online -I chose a standard setting for both, not an unlocked or DLC.
4) Exit game and restart console.
5) Download saved game data from cloud storage.
6) Restart game.
7) No errors and everything worked - No lost cars, wraps, or tunes.
8) Exit game and turn Auto Sync back on
Hope to see everyone experiencing this issue back on the streets soon!
Thanks to everyone who provided feedback on a resolve as well!
I believe the root cause is in the new DLC content.

Fixed but all my cars I sold are gone online 😭

I am playing on the Xbox Series X. I getting error codes both FTJR2008 and 40010000. This only happens when I start the game and on Lakeshore online. My other account on Playstation does not have the same issue. This is only account on the Xbox as of now. I played an hour or two into this when it happened. I use a wired connection if you're wondering. Also, anytime I see my friends list I cannot see the profile picture, banner, level, etc. I am unable to create a lobby for my friends. I am unable to play online as well. I tried to delete and re-upload the save file. I restarted the console and internet connection. I also tried to unistall and reinstall the game. The same problem still exists after trying everything.

- Is anything else happening? No, FYI, I had just earned the Mixtape achievement the last time I played without the errors, the next time I loaded the game I had the errors
- Please share any steps you've tried to far to resolve the issue: I've deleted my save on the Xbox, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, updated the game, tried another Xbox

Hey been troubleshooting this issue. Figured out a fix as I was having it as well. First thing look through your game and make sell any duplicate car you have. For some reason the game is adding additional cars to inventory.
Then Delete all add-ons. No worries you can add them back after recovery.
Close out game from the Home Screen.
Then go to the game and hit the menu button and go down to manage game and add-ons.
Go to saved data, click delete all. You will see ‘Any Game will be saved on Xbox network’ choose delete all.
After that you will see Saved data 0 items
Now
Open the game, be quick to cancel the Xbox sync. This will prompt you to start a new game. CHOOSE TO STAY OFFLINE. as you don’t want to overwrite your already saved data from your network saves.
Click through the game up to the character creation point. Go Home Screen Close game.
Reopen the game and you will now see a choice from local save or network save. Choose network save to open the game.
Sync should go all the through like normal. Go to online and you should connect.
I haven’t added the add-ons back yet but I’m now back online. Good luck to you! - 2 years ago
I didn't turn off auto sync but it still work The only thing is all the cars that I deleted stay deleted and then sync back all the cars I had back before.

- Which modes does this happen in?: Lakeshore Online and splash screen.
- Does this happen to any other account on the device?: No, not it does not.
- How long are you playing until this happens?: Not long at all, I can "Press Any Button" on the splash screen, then it gives me the first error "40010000" followed by "FTJR2008" when I select Lakeshore Online.
- Are you playing from the device's internal storage or an external drive?: Internal SSD storage.
- What type of network are you using? (Wired, Wireless, Hotspot): Wired ethernet to mesh router, this glitch first occurred when my wired connection temporarily dropped out.
- Is anything else happening?: No, as I cannot get into the game itself except Story Mode, as that is the only mode that is unaffected.
- Please share any steps you've tried to far to resolve the issue: I have tried removing most of my Story Mode cars, that did not work. I tried selling a few online cars, that also did not work. I have yet to try anything else as I am awaiting an official solution.

- How long are you playing until this happens? No time, shows up after the 1st button I press on the title screen
- Are you playing from the device's internal storage or an external drive? External, but tried moving it already
- What type of network are you using? (Wired, Wireless, Hotspot) Wired & Wireless
- Is anything else happening? Unknown
- Please share any steps you've tried to far to resolve the issue: Change storage device, delete the save file from console, switch to main profile after starting on a different profile, Uninstall and reinstall the game

Unfortunately this did not work for me, still getting the same errors as before. Just waiting for someone like @EA_Groguet to be on it

- Please share any steps you've tried to far to resolve the issue: Restarted the Console and Router Multiple Times, Uninstalled and Reinstalled, Deleted and Redownloaded Save, every method did not work. Have not been able to play since Volume 4
EA says they have fixed this with an Update and they did not.

- 12 months ago@EA_Illium Yes, I can still see the error with vol 6. I delete all my local and cloud data, new error occurs and cannot connect ea play ☹️
