Hello @Ar_mas48,
Try the following troubleshooting steps.
Verify Game Files:
- Open Steam, go to your Library, right-click on NFS Unbound, and select Properties.
- Go to the Local Files tab and click on Verify Integrity of Game Files. This can fix any corrupted files.
Update Graphics Drivers:
- Ensure your NVIDIA drivers are up to date. You can download the latest drivers from the NVIDIA website.
Check DirectX:
- Make sure you have the latest version of DirectX installed. You can download it from the Microsoft website.
Adjust Graphics Settings:
- Since you're playing at 4K on max settings, try lowering the graphics settings or resolution to see if that stabilizes the game. High settings can put a lot of strain on your GPU.
Check for Background Processes:
- Sometimes, background applications can interfere. Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) and check if there are any unnecessary applications running that might be causing issues.
Reinstall the Game:
- If the problem persists, consider uninstalling and then reinstalling NFS Unbound.
Windows Updates:
- Make sure your Windows is fully updated. Sometimes, missing updates can cause compatibility issues.
Event Viewer:
- Check Windows Event Viewer for any error logs that may provide more insight into the crashes. You can access it by searching for "Event Viewer" in the Start menu.
Check for Overheating:
- Monitor your CPU and GPU temperatures during gameplay. Overheating can lead to crashes, so ensure your cooling system is functioning properly.
I hope one of the steps works. 🙂
Best regards,
