No, rebuilding the database doesn't work.
No, clearing the cache doesn't work.
No, restarting the PS5 doesn't work.
No, turning it off and unplugging it for ten seconds and then plugging it back in doesn't work.
This error code has been exceptionally frustrating to deal with as it has been preventing PS5 users (could also be affecting other platforms, but I'm not sure) from saving wraps they create for their cars and when editing the body, body kit, or otherwise body parts of the car. It is also occurring upon BUYING cars!
When it comes to the paints and wraps in particular, this error code also seems to occur when downloading wraps from the community tab in "Paint and Wrap", although in my experience it does seem to download the wrap onto the car but will still display "Error Code 9" after sayiing "Success", after which the wrap downloaded seems to be temporarily apparent only to a session of play. Upon starting the game again or loading into a new session, the affected wrap(s) will not appear on any car they are applied until a user accesses their "Paint and Wrap" section again, in which the game will load the wrap but subsequently show "Error Code 9" each time the wrap is reloaded per each session of play.
When it comes to buying cars, they do seem to save to my game file in NFS Unbound in my experience, even though error code 9 still appears after buying a car. Still, this error code should not be appearing at all.
In short:
Error Code 9 states "Unable to save file. Your progress will not be stored. Please check our support pages for more help."
Occurs 100% of the time when saving or downloading wraps.
Occurs 100% when customizing the body of a car.
Occurs 100% when buying a car.
Nothing on the side of the user can be done to remedy to problem, this is an issue only the developer team can fix.
I just had this happen to me recently alot too don't know why or how. It might be worth applying your finished wrap to a car you don't use or care about. I did this and it got rid of the message. Maybe give that a try see if works for you.

I think the error might be tied to the total wrap amount maybe? I have 73 wraps and if I try to make a new one or download a new wrap it gives me the error. Is there a limit for wraps?
