Lost all progression after latest update

Hi,
Yesterday, after installing the update the game asked me again to choose the same settings as when I launched the game for the first time
Then I noticed that no matter which game mode I launched, I was asked to create a new character and that I didn't have my progress at all

I understand that there is a chance that my progress has been deleted from the servers but if this is the case I would like to know if it was possible to receive at least enough money to buy again the vehicles and upgrades obtained after hours of grind
