Not just the Pista, but other cars can be degraded to ruin the fun in lower classes
The only fix is to adjust the acceleration of lower gears. 488s, NSX 2017, Carrera GTS (Coupe/Cabriolet/Targa) may have their acceleration stats increased above 4.2s when switching to lower gearbox. Evo IX in A class (2.6s) also needs its acceleration to be increased to at least 3.2s.
These are just a few examples, I also saw more degraded cars in lower classes to get easy wins. This is NFS, you're supposed to upgrade, not degrade your rides.
One more thing I want to talk about EA. Although NFS games may have many problems, the games shouldn't be abandoned. NFS Unbound is currently the best game in NFS series, but I understand that it's still in development, so a few things might be lacking. I hope EA will continue to support Unbound longer. They may include paid DLC or passes, but they shouldn't abandon the game too early, especially after just a few fixes. The first update might be a bit too little, but that's okay, as long as it's supported and developed to bring more features and improve the game.
And we, players, shouldn't push them too hard with complaints. You're just gonna stress the employees out, and that'll just make the company abandon the game sooner. We can't keep that cycle looping over again. I hope both sides, players and developers, take your time to do your work or enjoy while it lasts.
