I got the EA Play trial via Steam, yet I am missing the BMW M3 GTR from Online. According to this site, I should get it https://www.ea.com/games/need-for-speed/ea-play

There´s info in youtube from lots of posts that tell us there´s no need to do gameplay missions in single player to unlock it. That´s the reason lots of us pay for EA Play.

Hi, apologies for my earlier confusion. Having EA play will also unlock it ifor purchase in multiplayer (edited to remove potentially misleading statement)

The car can not be purchased in Story mode.

It should show up in the Rides store under the Custom tab. It still has a pricetag attached, and is unlocked to buy, not given for free in the game.

Sorry again for the confusion around this and I hope this clears things up.

Hi @EA_David I've already completed the mission on Single Player story mode, but the car doesn`t  appear for me, even in online mode. The car is just not in the marketplace to buy

Same problem finished the story got ea Play and no m3 gtr 

@EA_DavidI´m getting the same problem. Got the EA Play on steam, installed the game and didn´t received the BMW as gift. The car doesn´t show up to buy it for free. Any way to fix this?

Same issue we others, no bmw gt3 online. steam., subscribed as well

They had to, as my people would say, "invent warm water"  

They could not just make the car unlock instantly in story mode or unlock it by getting all collectibles. 

Cars like the Focus RS need collectibles to unlock...really, Criterion ???

That isn't true. It appears in the marketplace if you do the High Heat Delivery mission. That's how you get it without buying EA Play. Anyone that subscribes to EA Play is supposed to have it appear in their online garage completely free and ready to go. That's what every video on YouTube has shown.

I did the missions and its still not there, so its a bug.

@EA_David Hello! I've purchased the game through steam, bought 1 month of EA Play on the associated account, completed the single player mission to deliver the BMW M3 GTR.

The car does not show up in the "Buy Custom" menu in single player or multiplayer.

What should I do to get the car?

Hi @EA_David I have also had the issue mentioned in the topic. I have completed the late game single player event and the single player mode story but have not unlocked the M3 GTR in single player or multi player.

Can someone with EA play check the following?

In The MP custom shop can you filter the cars by rating, then grab a screenshot showing where the GTR should be? It's rating is 352, so if you show the next lowest rated car it should also demonstrate the issue if the GTR is absent. 


@hollow_irish Sorry but that's not quite accurate, if you have EA Play it's not automatically unlocked, it must still be purchased. 

first picture is me having the subscription, 2nd and 3rd are the cars between the Nissan Z and the Buick and I play on Steam

@71MO7HY That is the Story mode store. The car is not available in Story mode, just the multiplayer. 

Just checked the multiplayer car dealer and it isn't there either

@EA_David first picture shows my subscription and the second photo shows the MP custom shop. if the GTR is 352, then it would've shown up somewhere between the lambo and the porsche rsr, but its nowhere to be found. i've also completed the story mode with the high delivery mission and the GTR is still missing

customer support told me I need to have ea play pro to get the car even thou the advertising site clearly says otherwise (https://www.ea.com/games/need-for-speed/ea-play)

Same issue here. Bought Palace Edition and EA Play. Finished the game, started online and the car just isn't in the shop at all. Bought both on Steam.
