Re: Worst gaming experience ever! Never been so frustrated over a game.

UPDATE: Even if i delete all my save files and attempt to start over, I get error code FTCL00001 every time I attempt to start a new online campaign.
This is absolutely the worst.

Hi @ChinoPisces sorry to hear this issue is hitting your account.

Can you check a couple of things,

If you have story mode progression, can you check how many cars you have? If near 200 (which I'm guessing you probably don't in Story mode) please sell some of them as there is a limit of 200 cars between both story and online mode.

If any of those cars are broken, usual suspects are Porsche Taycan or VW Golf clubman, if they are broken (missing parts etc) please sell them

If you have any DLC installed try uninstalling one of them, rebooting game and joining an online map, if this works you can close off the game again and reinstall the DLC pack. This should resync your inventory and hopefully remove this error code.

This issue is being investigated further by the team.

1. as i said, i've deleted my save game several times when they get corrupted. never had more than 20 cars at one point.
2. see 1. Had Taycan last playthrough. Gone now.
3. this did work. unchecked the DLCs on Steam and i was able to play online again. I still get disconnected randomly, though it gets in a groove once in a while.

Your game is still screwed up. Criterion should do better. Really.

I am unable to even go in freeroam or PVP multiplayer because of DR1001, in the past 6 days the only way I got into a game was once by luck, and the other times by tethering data from my phone which lets me play without any issues, ive tried everything suggested and nothing fixes it

The team has released Vol 8 with various fixes. You can read the patch notes here.

After anyone has had a moment to grab the update, I wanted to see if any of the issues mentioned here have been resolved or if anything new might have popped up.

I still get randomly disconnected when playing online, which is really annoying and makes me not want to play.
Why can't you guys get a stable connection? This doesn't occur with any other multiplayer game i play, only this game.
