Re: Xbox controller not recognized

Hi, i tried (just in case) booting up the game with the controller connected and double checked in device manager that the controller is shown and i also tried, as you mentioned, connecting the controller after booting up the game. I tried just now just in case to be sure. What am i suppose to do? To disable every startup process just to play a game?

To confirm if you've tried a clean boot of your PC and this continues we may be running into something else. 

I know you mentioned disabling all start-up applications, was that in a clean boot or just from Task Manager? Also, is anything else like Steam running when you attempt to play?
