Refusing to connect to a lobby
Product: Need for Speed: Unbound
Platform:PC
Summarize your bug It started with a syncing issue (Asking if I wanted to use the local save or the one on the cloud, and I picked the local save cause it was more recent) after coming back to the game to get on the new patch after I finished the previous Season Pass. When it loaded up, I had the screen that showed all of my unlocks as though I had just unlocked all my rewards. Single player works fine but whenever I try to get online, it keeps giving me a DR1001 error while loading into a lobby and I have no choice but to force quit the game. I've tried all the necessary steps to ensure my connection is great etc, troubleshooting, verifying the file integrity via Steam, clear out cache but to no avail. There were a couple of times where I managed to get into online multiplayer after verifying my file intergrity after numerous tries, only to be kicked out for no reason after about 20-45 minutes of playtime then it wouldn't work anymore. A couple more times I tried selling a few cars and it worked, only to be met with the same DR1001 after a couple of times of getting the game to work. Sold off my Porsche Taycan and it worked again, only to be kicked from the lobby after almost an hour of playing and then met with a DR1002 error. And now, nothing I'm trying is getting the game to work and I'm always met with DR1001. Previously I used to encounter a number of other issues with the game that always makes loading up the game a huge issue but it's usually fixed a couple of days into the patch. I love the game, but it's always so problematic to run.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Usually when trying to find a lobby as you load into online multiplayer
What happens when the bug occurs? A DR1001 error appears everytime I try to load into multiplayer on the loading screen (Loading into lobby).
What do you expect to see? A permanent fix that allows me to play

Hey @BernardYGM
Can we see if the following steps help with the error code?
- Run the System File Checker tool, then Check for Windows and GPU updates
- Repair the game files in the EA app. Go to the Library and find your game. Click the Manage icon, then click Repair.
- Clear EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
- Troubleshoot your connection to EA games
- Check if any background applications are stopping the EA app or your game.
Thanks!
