@1KayDee1 I used the following commands in CMD: "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" and "sfc /scannow". These will repair corrupted files in Windows but I believe this game will just corrupt it again later in the future. But it did fix it for me.

@Sjonny30 Did this one as well because I was trying to fix a failing Windows update which I thought was causing the issue. I found out that there's been a problem with this particular Windows update since January and I didn't have launch issues then so the Windows update isn't the issue. The "sfc /scannow" fixed corrupt files but nothing changes. Can't launch it. Thanks for the suggestion though. Maybe I will run it a few more times as the equivalent of slamming a kitchen appliance to make it work. (I slammed a non-working small heater, and a juice machine once and it worked, sooo. :D )
- 2 years ago@1KayDee1 Thats's unfortunate. You can clear Windows it's download cache and everything. You sometimes need MS Edge to bee updated as well. (Even if you don't use it still update it) And lastly you need to expand your EFI partition. (You can do this with the free version of AOMEI partition manager) Those are the fixes for failed Windows updates that have helped me in the past.
