Underground rivals not working
Underground rivals on my need for speed no limits game on iOS has not started up today. It’s 14:23 and it usually opens at 6:00-7:00am. Today not started up. Timer shows zero and it may have crashed....

It seems to me that this is a server issue.
Yes, an explanation would have been amazing. It seems that there is no response on any platform: Facebook, X, or Instagram.
Not even on the forum.
Have you tried the "chat to us" option on the in-game support? I generally think that would be the best option—to flood them with this issue.
