Cannot Pre-Order NHL 23 With Discount
My NHL 22 does not have an active profile when on the main menu. Only after I launch HUT does it recognize me. This creates an issue when attempting the pre-order the X-Factor addition for NHL 23 at the $79.99 offer price. Please help!
So far, this is the only report I'm seeing of this. I'm not saying you're the only one, but the vast majority of people are ordering without issue. Try using alternate DNS settings. From the Xbox home screen, go to Settings > Network > Advanced settings > DNS settings > Manual. (If Settings doesn't appear on the home screen, select My Games & Apps, then Settings). From there, enter the Primary DNS as "208.67.222.222" and the Secondary DNS as "208.67.220.220". If that doesn't help, try using the google DNS servers which are: primary alt number 8.8.8.8 - secondary alt number 8.8.4.4.
If that doesn't help, in your Xbox settings, try going to Devices & connections > Blu-ray > Persistent storage. Clear the persistent storage. I know it sounds weird, but possibly something is cached somewhere getting in the way.
You can also try deleting your gamertag off your console and downloading it again.
