Couch co-op?

Couch co-op for HUT seasons? Competitive online vs play?

The last 2 games decided to exclude any competitive couch co-op play. Since removing HUT seasons, there has been nothing meaningful for the co-op players of the game....in the tag line it says to grab your friends and get ready to play...any news on whether I need to pre-order this game for my buddies and I or has couch co-op and having a few beers with a buddy while playing online competitivley gone extinct?

Any news would be appreciated!

Hello, everyone. Couch co-op did not make it in for HUT this year. We'll get the feedback passed on for this. All the feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

My cousin and I would play the old franchise co-op mode back when NHL games from EA were hitting their stride. We don’t even care about online play. Wish this was an option. I don’t have as much interest since this option was removed. Maybe it’s too hard to code? Maybe it costs more money to add this? I don’t know, but it would be great if we could do this. Pay your software engineers more money…do something….these games are a just a money grab (and grab, and grab) anymore.

Sign me up for one! Better be a couch with beverage holder. And get online coop HUT implemented asap.
