I am really annoyed ... been a long day and all i had to look forward to was coming home and trying nhl 23 finally.
now i cannot get past the loading screen because it says Couldn't Resolve host name ... error code 0x0000000006
really annoyed ... anyone have a solution or is this just what we get for pre-ordering games instead of waiting for them to be free or discounted on ps+

This sounds like a connection issue. I'd like you to power cycle your equipment with the following steps: unplug your modem/router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem/router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. Let me know if that helps or not. Thanks!
+1 I am also having this issue with FIFA 23 on PS4. It has nothing to do with connection though since I am able to connect to other EA servers playing Need For Speed so this is clearly a problem with specific servers/games. Are there any other suggestions to resolve this issue?
Community ManagerDo you have any other controllers plugged in? Maybe a racing wheel or some other kind of peripheral? If so, unplug it and try again.
I’m on PS5 and I’ve been dealing with the same issue. The whole screen is white with texts on top left corner. I tried everything mentioned above and nothing worked. I can play all my other games and connect to servers but FIFA 23 won’t let me connect to their servers, it’s really annoying! I have timed challenges that need to be done but I can’t get online whatsoever. Please figure this out ASAP!

Community ManagerLoad in to the Network Settings screen on your consoles and let me know what it says for the NAT type. Also, did you try the power cycling steps I mentioned previously?

Yes I have done this. NAT is type 2. Not OP but same problem for BF 2042 and no answers anywhere. Even reinstalled the game twice.
