Do you get preorder bonuses on both console generations if you have both?

Hello,

I was wondering if I need to be worried that I opened HUT in EA play on old gen. I plan to play new gen but I forgot I had my Xbox one hooked up instead of my Xbox series S.

If I have to choose I would prefer that it goes to my Xbox Series S but I am not sure if that is an option or doable. Can someone help me out? Or do you get the preorder bonuses on both consoles?

Hi there, @Shelemiah

You only get the pre-order bonuses on one console. Since you opened the packs on Xbox One, they won't be available on Series S as well.

All Xbox Series X/S games directly say that on them so I'm not seeing how we tricked you in to installing the Xbox One version. Regardless, the feedback is appreciated and I'll pass it on for you.

I didn't have a choice what version of trial to install, I clicked the link and it installed. because I was on the series X your system should have detected that and installed the appropriate version.

Random side question to this conversation even though my original question was answered.
Can I install the Xbox one version of the game on my Xbox Series S and play on that console with that version of the game until the migration comes out?
I don't want to mess anything up before the transfer but just curious how it all works. Thanks!

Theoretically, yes, but if the migration is the same as it was last year, you can only do this if you never loaded into HUT on the Series S. Also, we haven't released any details on the migration yet so I really can't promise anything.

Ok makes sense, thanks! I won’t chance it. I hope the migration details come out soon. Would love to play on the series S soon lol!
