This behavior had not happened before the last 24 hours, not for this long at least. I rebooted my routers and extenders, but my PS5 is connected hardwire directly to the router and I even switched the port it was on and no other games are having any issues. I have closed the game fully everytime during this issue and also made sure it is up to date every time in case there is something not updating properly. Again, this issue is only happening consistently with the Rivals game (Coins, XP, and daily task rewards accomplishments).
I tried all that. Rebooted the ps5 and the router. Tried to re-install the game. Changed DNS settings.
I'm on a PS5 that's hardwired and I do not have At&t as a service provider. Also no other online issues with any other game I have tried.
Keep getting the failed to retrieve data error when I try to play any online mode.

Can you get me video of what is happening?
Try deleting the personal saved data for NHL 24 (or 23 if that's what you're playing). It's possible you could lose any offline saves and changes to settings. Normally, those will download from the cloud, but I can't guarantee that will happen. Go to Settings/Storage/System. Locate NHL 23/24 and delete the saved data. Let me know what happens.

I have reinstalled and cleared all game cache. Everything works, minus the Rivals. I have won two sets of two wins in a row and it will not move my rewards, daily/weekly progress for games played, XP or coins earned in those games. This is just an example. It will register games for the in-a-row wins, but not for the top one, which makes me feel to earn the final one, I will have to win 3 in a row or lose progress after a loss between.
New issue, now can't get on at all. Cleared game data, restarted, reinstalled and for over two hours no connection.

Are you still getting this same error? If so, I'd like you to power cycle your equipment with the following steps: unplug your modem/router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem/router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. Let me know if that helps or not. Thanks!
I have performed those steps several times, it is happening still to even log in. I got on last night and then again the issue this morning. It seems like a hit or miss, though the Rivals issue is still present (only one game out of 11 played properly showed up, though I got my streak rewards, but nothing else). I escalated the issue to EA after going through these steps with them on Saturday when I encountered the issue all day.

You mentioned not being able to get on at all, but then also say that it's happening in almost all your games. Were those games played before the new error not allowing you to load in to the game?
