The only option we have that may get you playing again is to completely wipe out your WoC player. This would mean you'd be starting over. If you're ok with that, we'll give it a shot, but there's also no guarantee that it's going to work.

don't delete your player.  They better fix this issue we are having..  like you said they got all this time to go in and update all these player stats and crap..but cant figure out why we are seeing errors lol.. I paid $100 for this broke game..its a joke.   its a recycled copy of  NHL 18-22  nothing new on the game...and these lame A$$ clown,pirate,nut cracker jerseys are stupid!! focus on game play and servers instead..

I CHANGED MY GAMER NAME TO KBrac586DET to see if that would fix the error.. nope 

.  So what's going on over there to fix this error I have had for almost 2 weeks?????

So far, the only potential solution we have is to delete your player. This isn't a guarantee though. You won't lose your stats and unlocks. You'll just have to rebuild your player.

And how do I delete my online player if I can't get into world of chel cuz of this error???????????? Cuz I have gone to my manage games and removed everything from storage..still won't let me in..

 This game is broken..and has been... how about a refund of our money 

Of get those techs get working on fixing this issues now!! Cuz it's been almost 2 weeks and may pationts is gone now. 

I'm done uninstalling and deleting .. fix this * now!

You're welcome to contact the retailer you purchased the game from to see if a refund is possible.

I bought it digital and can't get a refund.. but what u can do is fix this issue so I can play club games with my friends... I gave you my xbox ganertag..

Again, I realize this isn't an ideal solution but while EA (hopefully) comes up with something that fixes this issue for us, why not just make a temporary Gamertag/EA Account? If you own CHEL digitally, your main profile's entitlement on the console should extend to new profiles as well. Whole process of making a new Gamertag on the console, launching NHL, creating a new EA account in the NHL 23 main menu took like 15-20 minutes total.

I did this like 10 days ago and already got back to Prestige 1, so now have all the boost and perk unlocks back.

@Hockeytownx13 You seem to be still at the "Anger" or "Bargaining" stage of grief. You must try to move on...create a new Gamertag and associate it with a new EA Account, just for use until EA fixes your main account and/or NHL 24 releases. In the meantime, find joy in what you can to get through the Depression of losing of your main skater. Then finally, like those of us who suffered this bug before you, you will be ready for Acceptance.

Soo it's been 5 weeks now..and my game is still saying error cannot retrieve inventory from server..

Nothing is being done.. so about a refund.

We're still working to resolve this. It's a complex issue that is taking time.

Just fix my game.. are you even trying??? Cuz 5 weeks it's been!!!

Where do you stand as far as unlocked goalie equipment? For me, the error occurred twice and both times only after I had unlocked all goalie items in WOC (big save emotes, intros, and all skates, pads, gloves, sticks, and masks). 

Just started happening to me too directly after a drop in game. The game ended and then the “quit game” prompt came up AFTER the game finished and I just clicked yes thinking nothing of it, it sent me to the main menu and I haven’t been able the enter World of Chel since. The message and errors come up when trying to enter the game mode.

This is now happening to me now on both generations of the game xbox one verison and xbox series x as well. However the "cannot retrieve inventory from the server at this time." so I only get that error when I try loading up into WOC from the main menu. The loading screen starts and looks like its about to finish and begin loading up the WOC menu to choose a game mode to play, then all of a sudden i receieve that message and then kicks me back to the main menu. So thats whats happening on the xbox one verision of the game. 

The xbox series x verision of the game I get a diffrent error and it's right after i choose a position in any WOC game mode. So on new gen I'm successfully able to load and access the WOC menu with the game modes to select. Once I choose lets say like 4s drop. I load into the lobby and my next step would be to choose a position to play. Its right after that button pressed on a position and immediately get a super long error code followed by a kick back to the main menu.

WOC is the only game mode I play and yeah i'm screwed out on both old and new gen verisons of the game.. fml.

@EA_Aljo, could you possibly add me to this list of people that need their accounts looked at to fix. Also are there any steps a could take to litigate this issue I'm having? I see this problem started back ijn january give or take. Is there a fix to this by now or is it still being accessed?
