Female Hair Meshes Not Showing

Product: NHL 23
Platform:PlayStation 5
What is your gamertag/PSN ID? veronicacd
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to create a player, set the sex to female, then go to set the hair
What happens when the bug occurs? Only the hairstyles which were in the previous iterations are available, not the ones advertised in the promotional video.
What do you expect to see? The female hairstyles which were advertized where long hair comes out from the bottom of the helmet
Was the issue in online or offline mode? Offline

EA advertized these new hairstyles when bringing in the professional female players and while they are presumably coded into HUT, they are not where they are supposed to be in the creation modes.

    As seen in the official reveal trailer, when they announce the addition of the professional female players, new hairstyles that allow for women to have common hair that comes out the back of their helmet was supposed to be added to the game.  I cannot imagine the pain having a pony tail crunched under a hemet and taking a hit in that area - it would feel like a rock being jammed into your skull.  Yet these hairstyles are not properly included in player creation.

    @VeronicatheCDThey claim they add more customization for players but there actually isn’t… and like you’ve said in your other threads how awfully difficult and jumbled it is to even create teams due to the duplicate player/creation issues… just a brutal launch by EA… I guess I should say another brutal launch by EA…

    can’t even use hair styles which they featured is just sad…

    @heavydutyrammer Well, I'm guessing they know that they messed up bad, in many ways, and are at least feeling shame about it here on the front end - not necessarily the executives or owners.

    I also bought the game for this and the presentation and both feature are not in the game right now.

    @VeronicatheCD With the confirmation that Presentation was advertised and then removed, it wouldn't surprise me if you don't see your hairstyles either.

    @Bahamuta Yeah I guess essentially everything they advertised isn’t actually in the game.

    “Historical levels of customization for franchise mode?” Lol no. There’s no customization.

    Presentation? Nope there isn’t any.

    Female hair styles? Nope.

    What IS included? Years old bugs! Generated prospects with all the same skating style. Menu bugs. That’s the only thing included this year… is bugs

    @heavydutyrammer There is historic levels of customization - but you lost a lot of customization with it and it isn't set up to make the level of customization they technically allow to be easily manageable.

    They did not make a way to add them directly to the teams and they really need a way to give players random attributes that match play style and a preset OVR rating at this point or even the ability to put in empty teams and have it automatically generate players to give a team a particular OVR. So I might flesh out players on a few teams, then add another 10 that are randomly generated as in the draft.

    But technically they did offer the customization and it is the most ever offered even with some customization options removed in the process. There was more given than taken.

    @VeronicatheCD I can’t say I fully agree, simply because I don’t think adding extra settings means more customization. For example the salary cap setting… it’s hardly a setting, like Beauts80 explained better than I did in a different thread.
    There is less player customization for sure. Way less. Can’t edit attributes, play style position etc during franchise mode. Can’t edit strategies anymore. Can’t edit coaches/coaches aren’t adaptable like they should be. Players preferences aren’t adaptable like they should be.
    Custom leagues can’t have expansion drafts. Can only control one team. It’s an overglorified franchise mode. Slapping paint on a pile of crap. It’s still a pile of crap under that paint. Can’t give Gretzky his 99. I mean I understand what you’re saying, I just don’t fully agree that’s all

    @heavydutyrammer That was already gone in 22. But I don't consider that customization with the mode - though I can see how you might consider it part of the customization.
