You draft rookies as you normally would however when using those rookies in the nhl level their bubble helmets remain regardless of their age. I've played 7 seasons and my rookie is 25 and he still has the bubble helmet on. You go to edit player no sign of the bubble helmet but then you play the game and there it is the helmet hasn't changed still the bubble helmet
