gm connected in nhl 24?

Probably never coming back. You have to remember GM Connected was probably the last time the EA NHL series felt truly ambitious. I loved GM Connected but it was a buggy mess sadly and rather they make it better they just scrapped it. With the current state of where the NHL series is do you really want to see them attempt to do GM Connected? They're struggling with what they have in the current game.
Exactly. They can’t even get on the same page with what they put out now. The last thing they need to do at this point is try to add new game modes.
If they’re going to continue this series it needs a complete rebuild from the ground up. Not just from a code base standpoint. I’m talking the people making decisions and resources being allocated to development.It’ll never happen. But it’s blatantly obvious that their current model is failing.
Just my two cents. Lord knows if I had the kind of money EA had…
After all the years gone by your telling me they can not find à solution to bring GM CONNECTED BACK !!!!! Its all about micro transactions there making money with HUT and they dont want to put time in to it business before. ITS SUCKS IN A WAY BUT ITS WHATS BETTER FOR BUSINESS.
- @italien357 I mean you can't really say that because World of Chel has gotten plenty of love here and there and it doesn't have microtransactions.
Right now I'd say the main focus for NHL 24 is completing 100% crossplay/progression integration into PS5/Xbox Series. Getting this working properly would be something huge and be something that could make a thing like GM Connected even better getting to play with your friends on the other console.
We are still like 4 months away from probably knowing even the slightest thing about it. When they do the summer EA report on financials there is a chance we could see if a PC version is coming. From what I can gather, GMC wasn't as popular as some people seem to think - In any case, proper crossplay would definitely help revive the mode.
I still think we'd be better of fixing all the current issues before adding anything new

Yeah, I think EA has pretty much stopped investing in this game almost completely. I think it's just a rinse and repeat and take the money from people who don't mind a roster update and tiny changes. I personally think they could make more money by investing a little and fixing everything and adding stuff like this but maybe they know better and they make more by not investing. Either way even if they add it I have almost no faith it comes without a TON of issues. Every mode in this game has bugs many that have gone unfixed for years.
I wish they were adding it back. As an nhl Xbox player I agree that nhl does not care for the game except the fact they’re getting their money. If I were them I would save money up for a year spend most of it the the upcoming year the save again and keep repeating that process. The reason why I wish they added GMC back is because sometimes playing chel and hit gets boring so it’s fun to run a team but you and your friends have to make separate ones just to play. I wish me and my friends could buy the old game and play GMC.
