EA for real. Fix. The. Game. Tear it down to the coding if you have to. Because I’m about to give up and say “nhl 24? NAH I’m good”

@Zero2113 You shot every 10 seconds. How could that possibly be a simulation? You don't get that many shots with setting up plays, you're basically shooting from everywhere and hoping a random puck goes into the net. You're never going to win games that way unless you luck out or the other team's defense is so bad that they allow you to the net. Quality over quantity.
@TheUnusedCrayon 45 shot games happen in hockey too btw. It’s when the opponent has 4 goals on 6 shots, those being on the rush cross crease passes. And it shouldn’t matter how many people we play with or against the game it SHOULD be a balanced game, but it isn’t and it’s sad because I love hockey but hate what EA has mutated it into

I get that 45 shot games happen, but that doesn't mean both sides need to have the same amount of shots or goals. There have been many real-world games where the losing side has a much higher amount of shots. Just because one side takes advantage of breakdowns in defense and happens to score more goals on less shots, there's nothing wrong with that. Just like putting a high amount of shots on net against a goalie that's tough to beat. If you're constantly getting beat on the rush from cross-crease one timers, play a more conservative defense so those can be better defended.
- @EA_Aljo Yeah but when the opposing team legit does nothing but cross crease? Defensive sliders don’t help. You’d know if you played instead of sit here and tell me what I’m seeing is “how hockey is” when the opposing team every.single.rush cross creases. Play the game and see how ridiculously broken it is.

I absolutely play this game. My team hasn't had trouble with crpss crease plays, but I also play defense so we don't rely on the AI players. We see more teams attempting far side wraps and rebounds than anything else. Regardless, I set the defensive strategies to high pressure and my AI D man ends up being very active while I tend to play more conservatively so we're able to stop the high majority of these chances. If your AI defenders are giving up these chances too much, you'll need to have a forward drop back and play more defensively.
- @Zero2113 If they didn't play any defense then why couldn't you score then? I recommend showing where the shots are being taken from as well. That have the shot locations that you can screenshot as well.
I am definitely not going to debate you on the ai though. The ai is horrific. At some point though it's on you if you see them cheating the zone with multiple guys to have one of your guys back at all times. Offensively the ai are fine, so you can run with them up front to replace you and essentially switch positions but if you're getting abused with somebody cheating the zone and you don't adjust your strategy then you kind of earn your loss.
Is it 3s or 6s you're playing? Sounds like 3s.- @TheUnusedCrayon We play 6’s and it’s 2 of us, been playing like that for years. Shouldn’t matter how many human players we have, it should be balanced, but it isn’t. It’s sad because the game rewards sweaty glitch abusers while leaving the people who love the sport frustrated because EA is catering to them.
@TheUnusedCrayonWe’ve also adjust strategies, sliders still nothing. Game is potato much like the AI and not to mention how the cross play is going to break the game 🤣 can’t wait
