Was wondering more about waivers in franchise. I have waivers turned on for my league, but when I send down waiver-eligible players it sends them down and doesn't put them thru the waiver process? Kinda confused on how waivers work.
Any help is appreciated.

Like @Froommey @has said, waivers in the game doesn’t follow the actual rules that the NHL uses. There are no waivers in the preseason, although there are in real life.
The player you sent down most likely did pass through waivers, but unless he is claimed there is nothing that happens. If a team claimed him I believe you would get a pop up notification telling you. Also, if another team puts a player on waivers you should get a pop up notification asking if you want to claim them.
