In game stats

Next time this happens, can you get screenshots comparing your actual stats to the leaderboard?

Finaly we do not need a scoreboard during the game. We need the presentation back where a player was zoomed during the game in a break with his statistics. Another presentation which was removed guess since NHL 21. Same as goalie presentation with statistics after the warmup.

I am just playing the “Play Now” mode. For example I played a game where Eichel scored a goal and it showed him moving up the team list to 15 goals. That is obviously weird. He has far less than 15 goals at this point in the season, so it mustn’t be pulling current season data. Now he did score 14 goals total last year. If this is the data being referenced, I am not really sure what the point is as the 15 goal number is meaningless.

Here is an example from a play now game. Are goals just being added to last years totals? If so, that seems off to me as it makes these types of presentation features meaningless for this gameplay mode. Wouldn’t it make sense for the game to be pulling data from the current real-world season in this mode? A good reference would be the NBA Today gameplay mode from the NBA2k series which incorporates current stats from the real NBA into the presentation of the game.

So why bother showing players moving up their teams scoring list? As I said in my original post, it seems like meaningless presentation to me. 

Is there a reason why EA cannot incorporate real-time data like NBA2K does in their NBA Today mode? An NHL Today mode would be great.

It's just a feature available in all modes, but I get your point about it in this one. I'll pass on your feedback for the NHL Today feature. I don't have any details on why it doesn't work that way.
