There's far too much automation, in NHL 23. Factor in that human goalies have certain tools taken away from them, and the amount of high scoring games, it isn't a coincidence. In fact, it's purposeful.
I strictly play online, and a removal of tools means that I allow more goals against, and the opposing players benefit more from a fun factor. Where's the balance? Handicap one position, just to allow a couple or even several positions to benefit. Is that a sacrifice of the few for the greater good attitude? I paid $94 for the digital version. Why am I not allowed to fully compete?
it's still good, am talking about offline, not online, you onliners always destroy offline, keep online stuff out of this thread and we like it the way it is, online play is different from offline.

The goalie controls are the same for both offline and online.
Now, with that being pointed out, there's no need to overgeneralize that a certain demographic is the root cause of why the goaltending controls aren't up to the standard that once was. Meaning, online players have absolutely NOTHING to do with that part of the game, or any other part of the game. And the same goes for offline players.
If you're going to point fingers, point them at the developers. I'm a paying customer, just like yourself, and we're unfortunately along for the ride.
Bottom line, and for future reference, use the topic header to specifically highlight the topic that you want to discuss. Specify, man.
