@EA_Aljo That fine print doesn't explicitly state that only the teams mentioned have intros.
"One of many" and "including" is not the same thing as explicitly stating that the game features intros for those teams only. It also says "upgrade" and a new pre-game experience beforehand. All very general, no? By definition, this is a lie. For the vast majority of teams, forcibly condensing presentation is a clear and demonstrable downgrade.
This excerpt is misleading and no defense for what's happened with this release. These limitations should have been front and center in 23's promotional material but they were not and the material remains online, even after the volume of complaints.
It's an awful indictment of this title that loyal, long time customers are having to read between the lines of everything uttered by Electronic Arts. There is no trust between consumer and producer.
For a triple A price, it's absolutely reasonable to assume that EA would manage to muster up an intro package for 32 teams, just like other sport developers do. Dress it up how you like, point to disclaimers that disclaim nothing, this is a shameful episode.
It looks very much like a deliberate attempt to mislead and the feedback isn't feedback. It's anger. Purchasers of EA Sports titles are used to the first few months of the game being a bug ridden beta mess; it's tolerated. That's a poor situation but there's usually a belief that by November, the game will be of reasonable quality.
The presentation issue is another thing altogether. This is different. It's shameful. It's anti-consumer at best. I'm sure those fans who paid 70 dollars to find features cut and features wholly undelivered can describe the worst.
EA have to make this right. Deliver the upgraded presentation for all 32 teams. Put the Broadcast presentation back in.
