  Juuuuuuust kiddin'! I'm pretty happy that I did "only" purchased the Standard Edition, so I am not too much dissapointed about the fact, that the latest installment is basically the same as NHL22, but, yep it's a new low.

Can you confirm why this would be intentional as it was an available option in NHL 22. Was this just for the trial period or due to not being able to run the full presentation option on your engine?

  If it was due to engine issues then why would you push it for the lack of presentation which you promoted as one of the high points of the new game? It seems a bit false marketing on your part and I was actually okay with this if it was a glitch as stuff happens.. but if it was intentional then why not market that?
  
  @@Plus the overall game experience especially after scoring a goal (you barely hear the horn) or mid play (highlights) is not there which is a major part of the game.. which condensed takes away from you.. I get if you can't do all the intro stuff each time due to coding or time.. but vary it up and let the rest of the game experience (your in game feel) that you promoted you upgraded on be there

    Also for presentation. Simple stuff like seeing both goalies before puck drop is a staple to any live tv feed you watch. So how can that not be a part of it. Some of the glitches from NHL 22 are still there that were not an issue on the old engine and I can even live with them (created team flag does not show colors or team logo correctly on win celebration). but this is not acceptable. You are making it more if a SIM then a real life NHL experience.

EA Sports "It was in the game" - seriously, how can you justify a move like this in a AAA game? Congratulations on doing the bare minimum to call it a new version while at the same time stripping out features that you could have flat out copied from a previous year rather than removing. If presentations aren't restored this will be the first EA NHL game that my brother and I have skipped since 1995.
Good luck selling your half-finished product.

@EA_Kent Do you mean the removal of Full/Condensed Presentation options is intentional, the condensed intros is intentional or both?

Never felt the need to even post on forum like this. You guys messed up big time with this one. Iv contacted playstation already asking for a refund and let everyone i know that plays nhl to not buy this game. Full broadcast or ill never be back.
We should get a reply with a date of when this will be added or i will not stop protesting to get my money back for basically being scammed. You hyped up presentation but then removed half of it. Like how is that logical?

  Ok thats it for me and 30 years of buying this game,every year i have been loyal and many years i have buy the game even as it often felt like a update or a patch from the year before but i did this because i love HOCKEY not a unfinished product which feels more and more like a game on a mobile phone way to much arcady.I know this is the tipping point for many of my friends to who loves the game and only play offline and this horrendous decision by the NHL team is the worst blow so far and i just cant find a way to continue this journey and this will be the first year since NHLPA 93 on snes i skip and i will probably never come back until the presentation is back.
  And for you who has already buyed the game you must get your money not tolerate this Presentation SCAM they cant get away with this its false advertising.EA must be questioned about this SCAM to the fans they have caused!

    How can i get a refund ? i already pre odered the game and i dont like what i see while playing the early access like how come we cannot set the presentation to full anymore?

  You can do that? Ask for a refund from Playstation because that's what I want to do if there isn't going to be full presentations. Absurd that this is happening!

Completely unacceptable, I understand the offline players will never be the source of cash, but been buying every NHL since 03 and the fact I can't even see opponent goals offline is not right. Shame on me for per-ordering digitally with Sony it will be very difficult to get a refund but I will be doing my best to do so. I hope the hut players enjoy games going forward. I will be going back to the classics I guess.

  Might as well free up some more space by getting rid of all the face scans, cause we won't be seeing the faces of players anyway from now on so who cares what they look like...
  Seriously, this has to be the most awful decision I've ever seen in a video game. Thank GOD I didn't pre-order this garbage.

@EA_Kent Is there a reason why you wouldn't clarify why it was intentional? I feel like if you promote a new in game experience and than purposely remove part of that.. there should be reasons given. You did state that it was investigated.

  Now watch them fully bring back the presentation feature as a "new feature" for NHL 24 due to this backlash. Baited and switched for NHL 23.

@EA_Kent Why was this removed? Why was the ability to edit players in franchise mode mid career removed? Can we please get answers as to why EA keeps removing features and adding in half baked features that don’t work properly? Can we get any kind of answer from EA or will it just continue to be silence

@EA_Kent I get if you wanted to make a more fluent online experience for those who play HUT and that but having the option to turn it on and off would be that. Does this fall under the same category as EA not having the money to correctly model Refs in Madden even though EA was the first company to do that with an actual NFL ref.. as it was part of your marketing video than at that time as a major feature added?
