Online Versus is set to All-Star. You should be able to use this setting in offline modes to help get used to it, but personally, I would recommend using Superstar. If you can get competent at that difficulty, All-Star should be easier. However, the human element of online play is always going to be the biggest variable. At that point, difficulty and ratings don't matter as much as the skill of the person holding the controller.

    So, Game Settings > Game Style 3 (Competetive) and All-Star. I assume default Gameplay Sliders?

    Offline I've been playing Competitive and Pro with a few tweaks to Sliders resulting in pretty even competitive pairings. I'll crank it up and be prepared for a new learning curve.

    As far as I know, Competitive is used. If I find out otherwise, I'll update this.
