Re: True broadcast camera

Back on page 4 theres a link to it, but they denied my request because im over the 14 day limit even after I explained they changed features after launch! Thanks EA you owe me $75 for a useless game! So cool that online players are now able to see the whole ice on a camera they will never use! Seriously just make a online only version from now on!

@PatientMentall Or give their customer what they want? They could easily put True Broadcast back in, it's been there for years and add this one. What's so hard about that?
  • It's simply not a True Broadcast since it doesn't look like what we see on TV. Did you ever see a game on TV from this angle ? Not me. And what about the franchise players who sometimes like to watch CPU vs CPU games ? Where is the fun for them to watch games from that far ?

The true broadcast cam has been a staple of the series for close to a decade and like others here, my favorite camera and the only one I've ever used. I have severe visual limitations and that cam is the only one that is playable for me, bitterly ironic given EA's reasoning for abandoning it. Just don't get why it had to be sacrificed given that there are several other camera angles at a distance that are playable for those who prefer that option.

Eliminating that cam, without notice, a month after release when we've been playing with it is definitely not cool at the very least as already mentioned. On top of that, those of us who purchased at launch or shortly thereafter are screwed out of any chance for a refund on a game that no longer is what we paid for. No good deed goes unpunished I guess, such as being a loyal customer of the series. Disappointing, frustrating and exasperating.
