@EA_Aljo one of the biggest things that plagues the game is the goalies don't use their technique to redirect pucks. If a puck is coming in on them they usually kick their pads out 90 degrees which is a recipe for disaster in a lot of cases. A puck shot from the point or a fair distance away should get redirected to the corner most of the time but instead they tend to hit the toe of the pad and shoot forward.
I suppose the issue arose from all of those goals that went in for the past 2 years where they'd hit the pad and then go inside the post because the goalies made zero animations aside from the butterfly a lot of time too.
