reconnect back?

of course, this topic is raised every year. but on the eve of 24 let's write again

Imagine that you are playing a tournament game.
People agreed in advance,
12 people gathered.
They hung up in the menu several times.
And finally booted up, started playing, played 2 periods, but then one player disconnected.
What to do? press pause and wait for him to join back?

NO, to reassemble, to find an opponent again, then stand still and wait for the right time.
How many years will this happen?
Are we in 2001? in which online game is it impossible to join back to the match?
Is Michigan and cosplay more important than that?

  • It's a lot easier for both teams in a competitive setting to just start a fresh game, allow whatever goals to be given, and run the clock to the point of a proven/legit DC.
In my opinion, there are too many variables for them to implement a proper reconnect feature.

The player reconnected - And returned to the bench, the player's bot entered the game.

Other EA games have a reconnect.

    There are other ways:
to enable 7-8 players to connect to tournament games. Watch the game from the bench. If the partner is disconnected, go out on the ice.

For one, it can be an analogue of the spectator
