@KlariskraysNHL You’re saying that the NHL has a say in a sports video game about whether or not a brightness setting can be changed? Or even editing things like player style, which technically aren’t even official labels… calling Pastrnak a sniper or playmaker is subjective… do you think the NHL actually cares about that, and go out of their way to shut that down? Whereas the NHL’s counterparts in video games or madden fifa etc all have those features of editing and are fine with it?
Not sure where you’re going with this…. Offline community are pretty fed up with paying $80 each year for the same game/little effort being put into the game mode in terms of player requests… especially when they specifically ask us for suggestions and don’t listen….

@heavydutyrammerThey do have a say in a bunch of stuff. You know when EA brought back NFL Blitz and they removed the hits after the plays and such because the NFL made them.
“When we started working on this game we partnered very early on with the NFL and talked to them about what it is we wanted to deliver. We played the old versions of Blitz with them and we talked with them throughout the course of this entire product development cycle and, at the end of the day, the NFL felt like the late hits did not meet with their take on player health and safety, and they asked us to remove it from the game. Right now we have big action and big, over-the-top gameplay, but once the whistle blows there are no late hits.”
All I know is that when you can't get a simple answer as to why something hasn't happened after years upon years of asking it has to make you wonder why they can't just man up. I mean they don't even tell you they are looking into adding the feature.
Also the online community got part cross-play enabled and a couple more character build slots. Nothing else besides that. So don't give the whole $70-80 excuse. HUT just gets wiped for people to start all over and spend more money.
- @KlariskraysNHL You do know that we can edit players right? That’s a fact. We use to be able to edit them mid season. Now we can’t. But we can still edit them. So the NHL said editing players is fine UNLESS the career mode already started?
I get what you’re saying and I won’t say you’re wrong about something like that… the violent/safety/heath aspect of the game, sure. Especially with the NFL being under heat about the CTE issues…
But I can guarantee that the NHL doesn’t give a flying F about nearly every feature we ask for…
GM connected? Editing players? Revamp AI? Better visual settings for brightness? Control more than one team? Better sim engine? What problems does the NHL have with that?I stand with you on multiple things @heavydutyrammer. I'm not 100% on the AI changes. Personally, I've never had an issue with mine. Maybe the sim engine.
As far as @KlariskraysNHL The game devs do totally listen to its online fan base, but they back those who spend more money. That is all Rammer is talking about. They tend to over look Franchise and Be a Pro becuase they pay 70 to 80 dollars (or 50 to 60) once, where the online players can drop 50 a month.
The Devs cater to those who spend more, as they should, its a business after all, but all the success you online gamers get, we offline gamers get ignored. It would just be nice is they undid 2 or 3 things they did to make the game better or, and hear me out, released and Offline only version of the game, were they met out wants as well.
You are comparing apples to oranges here. Offline gamers do constantly feel cheated, and if you don't understand that, don't worry, but don't harass us for asking.
- @IrishOwl Yeah I usually hardly ever listen to players if they don’t even play offline… pretty hard to take them seriously when they don’t really know what they’re talking about…
