@IrishOwl I’ve been asking about your first question all week… EA Aljo said we are still locked out of editing players… seems that they want to keep it that way for some reason… they didn’t add anything besides the league settings… that was it.
The biggest problem is that they broke their own game and don't care. In what 2018 or 19, they added coaches. It made it more fun (IMO) to scout NHL players and Prospects to align with your coaches stats. You can't just get a hugh mix of players and gets plus five. Even if you "cheat" (and I don't consider it cheating) to change the player type from TWF to PLY/PWF/SNP becuase they programed in a TWF bias.
In 22, they added X-Factors, which got rid of the TWF bias, but added a whole new level of cheapness. Now, all you need is Magnetic, Third Eye, and Tape to Tape and you can have 3 players with 5 red Xs and still get a +5 line chemistry...
So, we can't turn Morgan Geekie from a TWF to a PLY to give Seattle a little boost, but we can give Yannick Gourde, Jordan Eberle, and Jayden Swartz X-Factors to give the top like an amazing chemistry.
I rebranded the Philadelphia Flyers into the Philadelphia Renegades and with 7 years, (and no cheating) had 11 forwards, 6 defenseman, and 2 goalies with Zone Abilities and Superstar Abilities. Everything was/is a +5 on this team.
Its all rather broken...
