Maybe I’m stupid but I’ve been playing the career mode and now randomly I can’t “simulate” while my player isn’t on the ice. It use to let me press the simulate button but now I can’t, I have to sit and watch the AI play and it doesn’t let me play after one shift.

Happening to me now too in nhl 25, restarted the game and that didn’t work so I made a new one and it won’t go away. Tried looking it up but couldn’t find a definitive solution.
my settings just reset so now it’s back to the stupid thing and I got injured and it says the doctors are looking at me and hoping for me to return and I can’t sim the period like I usually do.
