They aren’t fixing anything until cross play integration is ready to go. They could care less about anything else
This is extremely far from the truth. We're all excited for cross-platform play to go live, but we absolutely care about the issues that have been reported.
- Greyinsi3 years agoSeasoned Veteran@EA_Aljo the game has been out now for ages, and still nothing has been fixed. Actions speak for themselves…

I wouldn't call 3 weeks ages, but I get the frustration. There is a lot of work that goes in to patches so they don't come out immediately. Again, when we have news, we'll announce it.

@EA_AljoI haven't purchased the game this year (first time non-purchase since the 90's) because of all the issues I'm still seeing. But I believe the "ages" comment is referring to the past few years. We see the same issues year after year after year.
I'm reading about AI defense being horrible AGAIN this year, which was something EA said they knew about last year (LD playing on the RD side, etc.) So what was fixed? From what I've read, nothing. Defense is still letting the other team skate right in without touching them.
And the presentation debacle? Horrendous. Instead of creating new NHL forums, just rename them because you'll have the same issues reported. "Frustration" doesn't even begin to describe how this community feels about this series. - EA_Aljo3 years ago

There are AI improvements every year. I don't think they'll ever be 100% perfect. Neither will humans though. We're always striving to make them as realistic as we can, but they're still computer players. They can only read plays so well. I think they've come a long way over the years, but we'll most likely never make everyone happy with them.
As far as seeing the same issues goes, yes, some still exist. That's on us and I hope we can do better with getting those resolved. On the other hand, there are issues that are fixed every year so we're not exactly ignoring every bug.
- Greyinsi3 years agoSeasoned Veteran@EA_Aljo considering the life span of the game (barely a year) and being pretty big part of the gameplay, yeah I would call it ages.
- @EA_Aljo Any word on this? I am literally conceding board battles and allowing goals because I can't stick lift even though it would be a perfectly normal time to. It's getting old fast. Modern warfare has been out for a week and they already fixed almost every big glitch that was occurring at launch.
I just picked up the game with the 30% off sale. The stick lifting is absolute trash. It is basically a penalty button now. If this is not a bug, who thought tuning it like this was a good idea? Epic Fail! How does this pass QA? Stick lifting was fine last year. It was a tool that I used as a smaller build to defend since I didn't have the OP Truculence. Now that tool has been taken away. I don't dare press the button now. This is pathetic.
Also, why do the AI pass in random directions when you call for the pass? It is so bad.
Why are there still flashing graphics/artifacts in outdoor rinks? This was reported since the beta of NHL 22. I even created a thread about it and linked youtube videos which you guys acknowledged, but it is still not fixed! Honestly, what the heck has the team been doing all year? This is a pathetic effort. Shameful.- NeonSkyline213 years agoSeasoned Ace@CHILL21GENLEE You can either upload to a youtube account (can keep it private if you don't want it to be searched for without a link) OR you can use the PS App on your phone to easily transfer files.
- NeonSkyline213 years agoSeasoned Ace@Digimon117 If you're getting over 10 penalties a game the problem is definitely you.
I agree that sticklift is ridiculous right now but come on dude... adjust.
