It’s says my coach is Agressive on everything, forecheck, 3v3, but when I go into editing my lines it says my strategies are all passive. PP and PK are different to

This is actually the same thing we have been discussing for two years about editing players. They decided to remove it, we have had countless discussions on why we wanted it back and it still hasn’t returned, so I know I have written off this being changed back as well.
For what it’s worth @Caliboy6262_714 ,There was a video submitted in this discussion shortly after it was requested. It is on page 12.

Roger that! Didn’t see it. Thanks for the heads up
@EA_Aljo Suggestion: Maybe having an option to turn this on or off could be a solution, similar to the head coach adjusting lineups and alternating goalies..."Head coach sets strategies", on or off.
- @Zodus_Nehamiah It would definitely help to slightly fix this awful game. Everything in it is broken. I don’t get why having the option for customization is bad? Why force us to play a certain way by locking everything, when everything is broken and doesn’t work right?

So here’s a question now. Because I don’t think it does at all. So when in game and you do adjustment to strats via d pad. Doesn’t it even change a thing ?

Is the glitch still there where the strategies don't change when a new coach is hired? Or has a second patch come in and fixed it?
If that has been fixed I could live with it. But I think I will second the suggestion above that coach's can be allowed to adjust strategies by toggling it on like coaches can edit lines. We should be allowed to edit our strategies at will.
@EA_Aljo I don't believe this at all. You are still allowed to edit strategies right before a game so the reason EA removed default strategies wasn't motivated forcing us to use what our coaches use. If that was the case EA would have removed it completely. EA doesn't want to fix code that's all.

People have stated that a patch that was supposed to have fixed the bug (where a new coach wouldn't change the strategies in Franchise mode) didn't fix the problem. I can confirm that as of patch 1.31 that this bug is still there.
I fired my old coach Vincent Bellefeuille and promoted Isreal Aucoin. I still have Bellefuille's strategies when Aucoin is coach. Pictures of this below.

While this glitch is still unresolved, I have been thinking about the intended idea of coaches controlling strategies. I think it is a great idea that I feel should be tweaked a bit to be better.
- I think the coach controlling strategy should be an optional thing we can turn off or on similar to the coach controlling lines. Either create a new toggle for that separately or combine it with the coach edit lines. I was thinking of starting a new franchise and wanted to dive into learning/controlling the strategies in ways I haven't done before. Locking me out of this so the coach does so automatically hinders my ability to experiment and learn.
- Are the coaches assigned strategies 100% static for all time? I think that a CPU coach should adjust/change his strategies based on the attributes of his players.
- What about adding a penalty if the strategy chosen (either by CPU coach based on players or user manually changing it) doesn't match the coaches "preferred" strategies.
