Used your sliders for a period, 8-1 me:
Here are some Highlights:
This one is long with a low frame rate but I wanted to capture how bad the defense was and for how long
I could do many more of these but it would be beating a dead horse.
Its nothing against you, the sliders are fine, the AI is severely broken in this game and sliders won't fix it.
I've got my sliders set up for position lock on G but I was gonna end up doing another set for skaters. The AI is improved from previous games, but it takes A LOTTTTT of tuning to get them to become challenging but not cheap.

@Jagavekovonce I perfect my sliders I'll try handing them to you. One of the reasons why PernellKarl's sliders are allowing you to do that is the stark contrast in backskating speed, aggression and in general skating speeds that he has. The biggest one being the backskating speed.

1) They take the wrong angles towards puck carriers - they seem to target the back shoulder of the player, causing them to skate where the puck carrier WAS rather than where he IS GOING.
2) They prioritize covering open players and staying in position too much, at the expense of attacking the puck carrier. This leads to offensive zone play that looks more like an ISO play in basketball, where one player skates around with the puck (like in my clips), and if (more like when) he beats his man, no one else is concerned with stopping him.

Hey Hood. Couple years back you shared your sliders. Thought they were awesome.
Think you could share em again when you're done? Paid for this game ,may as well have as much fun as I can with it.
Happy Holidays man.

Goalies are way too op, you have to make things super unrealistic to get the ai to behave somewhat smart, still can't get players to take shots from the point, trying to get balance and having attributes matter is a mess, one-timers are a mess, half of the sliders aren't effective enough anymore, etc.
NHL 20 had it going well but I'm really really struggling to tune this game well because so many aspects of the game are so unbelievably unbalanced this year. I will try my best though.- 3 years ago

I will try my best though.I don’t know if you saw it in my sliders thread, but I found a fix/solution to the DMen taking shots from the point. I also have a 2nd version of a roster that fixes lots of the other nagging issues you are having 😀
This video is me playing LW lock with the Sabres, so all the plays you will see from the DMen are from the AI… These plays occurred in the span of only 2 periods 😀
