What happened to it? It’s completely off post-patch, basically as high as the regular broadcast cam.Please fix it!

Hi everyone, Thank you for the feedback on our True Broadcast Gameplay Camera, we appreciate the time and effort that goes into your responses. In regards to the changes we made in this gameplay camera, we’ve received consistent feedback over the years that while this camera always had a strong visual quality it was very challenging to play the game from. Some of the contributing aspects were further made more difficult from the shifting camera height, angle and field of view from stadium to stadium. In order to ensure that this gameplay camera was more playable we made some changes to accomplish this goal while retaining the authentic vision that we wanted this gameplay camera to represent in the product. Increased vertical space allowing for greater visual feedback and improved depth perception Wider field of view ensures that all of the key gameplay actions are on screen at the same time by keeping as many players in view as possible. We will take your feedback around the changes to this camera into consideration as we continue work on the franchise for future releases and again appreciate your passion around the details of our product. Maintenance isn't fully complete yet. I don't have an ETA on that, but we're working to get it completed as soon as possible. Once that's done, if this is still happening, can you get a video of it?

@EA_Aljo while we're at it can you let them know we're interested in more camera options in general? The game looks too good to be played from so far out. We need a better option that allows us to see the ice but still be pretty zoomed in so we can see those character models. Also camera angles that makes the game feel more immersive, like you are in the arena. Fixed is great but can only be used for goalies. Action would be awesome if it weren't so zoomed out when the puck is on the offensive side of the ice.

True broadcast camera appears as its in the upper bowl of an arena! Can barely see the puck & all the arenas are the same! Just finished a season in franchise mode with crazy hours put in to start the playoffs & its completely unplayable, was fired up now im so bummed out!

@PatientMentall I've learned to not install their patches until I read about what disaster they create. 10 years ago you could create your own viewing angles. Another thing THEY TOOK OUT OF THE GAME. I've learned to wait to see what they broke because you can't go back with a digital download. I use true broadcast all the time, so I won't install the patch based on what I'm reading.

Same EXACT situation.
Literally Game 1 tonight.
I copied my save files onto a thumb drive and I am going to redownload the game.
I can't believe this company. It literalyl gets worse with every game and now with every patch. It's remkarbable.

How does this keep happening ? Not only are the problems not fixed as reported in the patch (strategies in Franchise mode), but things that were working just fine are now broken. Was this done on purpose ? And if so, why are you spending time fixing things that weren't a problem, and that NOBODY EVER complained about ! Geeeez.

Just unacceptable, right?
First they take away full presentation, which clearly is not coming back until at least NHL24, and as I try to wrap my head around it, waiting for all the reverse retro and missing jerseys to start working on my rosters, all we get is possibly one of the least accurate set of uniforms in years (and some are still missing altogether).
Now I can't even play on my favorite camera angle. I don't even know what to say at this point.

Same here.
I was actually shocked when I saw it - Imagined it could be one specific arena but nope, all arenas now how this blimp camera view.
Tried turning Auto Zoom off, no effect.
How can this be good? I only ask if it was on purpose or not. Very weird and I don't think it can be solved before a new patch...
