Warning - cheaters

Don't play with the team *snip* they are cheaters, you win and the match will be deleted.

(CM: Edited to update thread title and remove team name. Please do not share player or group names on the forums. It is considered naming and shaming)

    Hi @Kumargreenguy,

    Thanks for reaching out. I'm afraid we're not equipped to process cheating reports through the forums, and naming and shaming players on here can lead to harassment so we ask members not to name and shame other gamers on this forum (as a result of this, we've edited the name out of your post to keep your post within the forum rules, please keep them in mind for again). 

    We do have official channels in place to receive reports and route them through to the team looking into them. This EA Help Article goes into that in more detail: "Report players for cheating, abuse, and harassment". The channels differ depending on what platform the cheating taking place on.

    I love they answered they're not equipped to help lol. Getting cheated by the game, don't worry we can't help you, but we'll shame you for calling out a team for cheating lol  Guaranteed I get another ban for speaking the truth. Or as EA calls it being "toxic".

    This is a peer to peer help site; most users aren't equipped with the same tools as the support staff.

    Name and shame rules are in place for a variety of reasons, some of which are meant to protect accusers and EA from legal action

    @TTZ_Dipsy Although their stance comes off as a catch-22, the NHL series hockey gaming community should be made well aware of these problems, and exactly who's purposely ruining others online fun, win(s), etc. There's absolutely no excuse for allowing cheaters to get away, unscathed, because of some overly bureaucratic stance.

    If you put yourself in a position to cheat others, then the community should be made well aware of your ill intentions. You brought it upon yourself, and it shouldn't take other peoples integrity to keep you protected from the exposure.

    Bottom line, (modified quote) political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and promoted by closed-mindedness, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a piece of crap by the clean end!
