Auction house drought?
Just checked the auction house and noticed that there was just a tad bit over 5000 players available. 94 and above about 140 players. Have people stopped playing or is it the fact that EA releases so...
The auction house always seems to be suffering from a drought.
Part of the reason is that the only was items make it to the auction house is if someone buys a pack (or packs) and posts items for sale.
Any players/cards that are built from MSP sets, or earned from challenges/objectives/etc are non-tradeable.
Any packs in the store that guarantee a player/card from a specific program is non-tradeable.
Until this model changes the auction house will remain slim pickings.
I know the NHL market is not nearly the size of Madden but at least there are multiple ways to get players/cards in MUT and the vast majority are tradeable. Other than limited edition cards they are often reasonably priced and always available.
Would be nice if:
Every program had dedicated packs that contained cards/players from that program and they are tradeable.
Every program had sets that allowed you to build any card released in a program, not just MSPs
Every program had a way to earn specific cards through challenges rather than build them - these rewards could be non-tradeable
Coin rewards were such that you can reasonably grind things out and earn enough coins to buy the cards/players that you want
Just one man's opinion.
